my brother who is 24 found his shorts wet and then realised that he was bleeding from his backside.then recently about 5 days ago he was bleeding from his nose.

nosebleeding from the bottom can have many causes piles a tear from lifting a heavy object depending on the colour of the blood will also help define the problem bright red is fresh blood dark red nearly black is old blood and more serious nose bleeds are the body way of releasing a clot that otherwise would travel to the brain

Bleeding from the back passage should be investigated.
From the nose could indicate blood pressure problems.
Either way best get them both checked out at the same time.

Nose bleeds = normal
Bum bleed = significant danger, get him to a doctor

Yes, he needs investigation. But my bet is on the problem being a bleeding disorder rather than a problem with his nose and backside.

Your brother needs to see a doctor right away. Both of those things together are worrisome, esp if they happened painlessly and without trauma. Could be a lot of things, most of them serious. Leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, von Willebrand's, thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura (TTP), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), other cancers, virus, drug side effects, any problem with blood clotting or platelets.

bleeding from the nose he could have high blood pressure. bleeding from the backside he could have piles or a ulcer. get him to get checked.

your brother recently participated in some bum love and when he found it made his rectum bleed, he became extremely annoyed with the man he participated in bum love with, so,,,,,,,,,,,your brother went round there to argue it out but the guy wasnt standing for your brothers disappointemnt at he bleeding bum situation ,,,,,,, so he punched him in the mouth, but missed, hit his nose, ,,,,,and low and behold, bleeding nose syndrome,

oh thats really not a good sign.
I would definatley get him to go to a doctor for a check up. It's better to endure some embarrassment than have to worry about that it could be and end up having to go to the doctors anyway.
or he could ring nhs direct and see what they say.
