They may not be "deaf" but many DO suffer from some form of hearing loss or another. I know from experience that the normal pitch of my voice is hard for anyone with that problem to hear clearly. not only do I need to raise my voice, but I have to speak in a bolder tone.

I think it's habit. Just like if you are talking to someone who speaks in a foreign language and doesn't have a good grasp of your language yet, I have noticed that people talk slower and louder, like that's gonna help!

Yes thats right not all of them are deaf but most are..... and a majority of the rest are just slow. haha j/k
old people are ok...... sometimes...

I dont do tht..but i guess ppl assume ther have hearing prob or their mind process has slowed down so talk loudly to assure they understand ..idk..
