are the fender strat's any good? ive been playing for about 4 months now i guess and i need a cheap guitar. im 15 so i cant get anythin expensive... i like the look of the strats but are they any good?
i've been playing this Casino Stage Series cheap guitar that i got a few years back... does anyone know anythin bout them? it feels and plays pretty well...

Fenders,Gibson and Hamer are great guitars.It's funny how you say you've been playing for 22 years in your other answers.That's because you just copied and pasted my answer to other questions.
American Stratocasters are the only well made Strats.Squire is just a Mexican or Japanese offshoot of Fender Musical Instruments.These are of very poor quality.Strats are a little stiff from the factory but I've had all of mine customized with Dunlop 6000 jumbo frets and one has a scalloped fingerboard.The American Strat may be out of your price range right now.
Ibanez and ESP(Electronic Sound Products) LTD series aren't bad.Washburn is not any better than what you have right now.

Unless your willing to spend the $800 for a Japanese made Fender or the $1200 for a American made then no its not a good guitar. Look into other manufacturers. Ibenez makes a great entry level guitar in the AX series. For $200 you will get a Dual Humbucker that are actually pretty hot and will let you pull overtines no problem. Epiphone has a good entry level as well. Also PRS has a good entry guitar in the SE series or ESP guitars as well in the LTD series, both of these are about $400. Fender makes good high end guitars that does not translate well into the low end. But if you are set on getting a fender at least get a Japanese made one.
