I have seen many prostitutes on the street. I pity them. Do they enjoy the sex they get or are they in distress? Does it depend on their background - whether they r kidnapped or whether they r women who r forced into prostitution due to financial problems? N who r the ones who enjoy their job?

Where there's prostitution, there's drug/drink abuse, domestic violence, poverty, weapons, mental instability, and much, much worse. For most of these gals, it's a so-called "career" by default and not design. They are so severely disabled by demons that selling their bodies is just about all they can do.
Prostitution is not AT ALL a glamorous career choice, despite what the movies depict.

Many people think no more of these women and girls than they do the toilet where they drop their daily waste. They are seen as sex receptacles, nothing else.
Yes, there are the "high class" , but many of the girls on the street will tell you that's where they started too. Now they end up terrorized by rival "ho's" for territory, by sadistic "johns", by pimps demanding quotas and even by law enforcement.
Then there's the blow jobs for men who haven't bathed in a week. Or the ones who insist on "riding bareback" - insist at the point of a knife. She might be ashamed to go to the clinic clutching her bloody breast, but someone has to sew her back up after the last guy wanted to "play a little rough".
I've never yet met a prostitue (including the "high class" ones) that was not a)physically/sexually abused as a child, b)addicted to alcohol/narcotics and c)depressed/suicidal.
Their life expectancy is abysmally low, and the life they do have is filled with pain,violence and hopelessness. Being drunk or stoned is often the only thing that keeps them from killing themselves, so they see it as a positive thing. Most do not make it out alive. Some will succumb to an overdose, or be stabbed in a fight over turf, or finally lose the HIV gamble, or end it by their own handgun. But what is horrifyingly becoming all too common they will just disappear. One day, months later, someone will spot a human torso, or an arm in a field. But it's just a whore, so who cares right? And she probably liked it.

The truth is most of them love what they do. If there was no stigma attached to prostitution I bet we would have more prostitutes than married women: thats why today, i respect any woman who is able to pitch her tent in a man's home.
That is not to say there are no exceptions to the rules: you know like they say, life isn't fair.
Some people were not born with a golden/silver spoon and in the bit to survive find themselves doing the unwanted.
Some would have been OK but for greed, laziness, lack of moral upbringing and lack of contentment.
Ultimately though, there is no justification for prostitution because if you are faced with adverse conditions, you can use your head or your hands and must not use your body.
Remember, your body is the temple of the lord.

There is a thriving industry in London with hundreds of agencies and independent escorts providing sexual services. I should imagine for a young girl from Eastern Europe or The Far East without a pimp and with the potential to earn thousands per week for lying back and thinking of Poland; they may well enjoy it for a short time, but at what cost to their well-being in the long term?

I don't think many if any would enjoy being a prostitute. many women who end up in this situation have come from abusive backgrounds and have drug issues. Many are run aways that are escaping a abusive situation and are conned into it. After they are in i am sure it becomes a difficult situation to get out of. So, my answer would be no. They get into this life and then it becomes a painful reality that they become sucked into a vortex.

I can't imagine the do... I mean how would you like random people groping all over you, performing sex acts with them...I'm sure some of those Johns are pretty NASTY! I just think it's the only thing some women feel that they can do... and then there are those caught up in the sex trade and I can only imagine how horrible THAT must be. Interesting question to ponder!

Im here to show you an ABSOLUTELY NOT!
I hold a mastrers degree (BSRN) work part-time as a gun-shot wound specialist and an up-scale 'ho' full time. I LOVE my job!!
My clients are not unshaven, un-bathed, losers. Au contrare, they are dr's, judges, businessmen and come from all walks of life. I have a saying, "Ho's get paid, sluts get laid". Why not work 2-3 days a week and make 2-3 thousand $? It IS addictive, though. The encounters last usually no more than 10 minutes, are sometimes VERY enjoyable, physically. But the rush from the plain white envelope with 500$ cash...EXILLARATING!
So, there you have it, call me crazy, but dont diagnose me. Not sexually abused, not drug dependant, just liberal and WEALTHY!

I don't think that any of those women enjoy their job. Even if they would enjoy the sex involved, thinking about the many beatings they get from their pimps, and the many times they are forced to do things to horrible people... in the end they would come to hate it.

They are not having sex with the person they like or love and most of their clients are filthy, ugly old bastards that treat them with disrespect.
I do not know what leads them to this profession but I am sure if they had the means they would choose a different career path.
