Do you mean perception itself or the 'cognition of perception'? Perception is pretty much universal among humans. I believe that all humans perceive some form of external data and the difference you mention occurs within the human 'cognition of perception'. This turns the data into something we can name (a colour, an object of any sort, a sound..). This cognition may also be altered due to biological reasons - this is generally why some people are colour blind and have trouble seeing certain colours.

Hope this helps.

People in another word, have different thoughts and thinkings from eachother. you can see that as... like.. you'd see a picture as a bunny, but another person would see it as a duck. That's what made us humans unique, but sometimes it turned out to be disasters. Leaders from different countries have different perceptions for their countries, different way of thinking, and that lead to wars. Unless people know how to value eachother's perception and accept it as an OPINION, not a FACT. Then the world would be so much much nicer, and better.

Life's such. We can be looking at the same thing, but we might have differing opinions. We all interpret what we see with our own eyes and brain. Best illustration - a number '6' from your angle, when viewed by others from the other end, is a number '9'! Who's right or wrong now :-)

Because we come from different backgrounds, cultures, morals, priorities and we all, psychologically speaking have different psychological make-ups. Some can tolerate more than others, some cannot. Its a pretty simple thing but this difference causes a lot of problems globally.
