i cant believe all these people...picking batman over the hulk...

Batman is a normal man with a suit and a couple gadgets that get him around and help him do his thing against normal human people....

the Hulk is a super human...super strength, speed, agility, and even quick witted. He is pretty much impervious to anything and if he was to get injuired he can heal himself.

so in the end the hulk would leave batman in a bloody pulp if he didnt kill him first...and yes Marvel characters and so much better then DC....

ANYbody could be the Hulk if they got their sorry butt caught in a gamma bomb explosion. Batman earned his rep by hard work. It's not all toys and gadgets. He has a graduate degree in criminology, and sweated for years to become a boxing, wrestling, judo, karate, savate, jiu-jitsu, kendo, akewaza, ninja, fencing, brawling, streetwise master. Especially in light of the temptation. People scoff at his wealth, saying, 'If I was wealthy, I could be Batman too!' But how many of us would really have the discipline, the stick-to-it-iveness, the strength of will to keep up with our original goal...? How many of us would wind up saying, "I want to take it easy and enjoy life and enjoy my wealth; this crimefighting schtick is for the birds. I'll just put up a big memorial to the memory of my dead parents and drown my sorrows in another glass of Chateau Rothschild '95." You don't think he was ever tempted to just chuck it all...? That's the thing about the rich, they have willpower, the likes of which most other men don't have. Yes, he inherited some wealth, but his father was only a millionaire; Bruce has built up the family fortune to the point where he's a billionaire. That speaks for his dedication, his bulldog tenacity.

On the other hand, what does the Hulk have going for him...? And don't tell me 'Hulk could smash Bruce Wayne into a Bat-smear.' That's fine if all you want is a smash-em-up. Some of us are looking for a little more in our comics reading than that. How many lives has Hulk saved...? Deliberately,,,? How many crimes has Hulk prevented...? How many people sigh with relief when they see the Hulk appear...?

See, the Hulk isn't on OUR side. He's just the personification of a spoiled, selfish three year old given the destructive power of an atomic bomb! A mindless brute for mindless entertainment. But there comes a time when people outgrow that sort of thing.

Who would you rather see brought into real life, Hulk or Batman...? Hulk would be a public menace. The only enjoyment I can get out of Hulk these days is to look at the trail of destruction he leaves and say ,"I'm glad HE's not real...!"

Batman is one of the few superheros that does not have superpowers. He made the decision to help save people and despite not having powers is still able to. I mean if you were born with superpowers it is almost like a requirement that you either become a superhero or villain.
Superman is great and all, but other then his weakness for the meteor rocks he was basically invincible. With Batman, people can relate to him better. He was just an ordinary man(other then being a billionaire) who wanted to protect those that cannot protect themselves.

Batman, hand down. Batman has no superpowers, only his intelligence. Hulk, when you get down to it, is just a guy in need of anger management classes.

Batman has the brains and the Hulk has the brawns.

I'd rather be batman anyday but I would ditch the rubber suiting.

No doubt about it. Batman deserves a lot of respect. Even the mightiest DC hero, Superman, respects Batman, with good reason.
But, at the end of the day it is the Green Engine of Destruction.

Hulk.

Batman can outsmart Hulk easily if he doesn't get split in half like he was with Bane

Batman, I would be prefer to be a sophisticated playboy than a maniacal doctor turned into a large green creature. Plus, Bruce Wayne gets the chicks!

Batman is awesome.
Think about it, he's probably the only superhero without superpowers. He's just a seriously pissed off guy in a Bat suit (with issues, of course) who takes it upon himself to go out at night and beat the sh*t out of loser criminals.
I cant think of a better way to let off some steam than that!

batman- his stories are better, art is better, mythology is better, and his movies are not hot garbage with the exception of batman&robin. sin city stole everything the hulk did as movie concept and did it right.
