this might be a bit much to ask, but we are after *cheap, *warmish 15+ degreees C, *close to Uk ( no more than 4 h flight) destination over new years for about 5 nights. stuff to do and see, but again needs to be cheap. any suggestions from anyone? much appreciated! cheers!

try cyprus warm friendly and cheap im going in dec £250 for a week all inclusive food booze bed dont have to put your hand in your pocket once your there and very nice people to boot who could ask for more oh and this is the second time ive been went last year was brill thats why im going back try portland direct .com lots of bargains on there hope you find one that suits cheers

No where over New Years Eve is cheap. Again this depends on your definition of cheap. You would have gotten better prices had you booked this in advance. There are several places over New Years that are virtually sold out and when that is you will pay quite a bit more. Would suggest going the first part of Jan. after New Years.
Depending on your budget will determine if you are able to go anywhere of course, but you just have to be realistic when it comes to what you are saying you can spend.

I would say stay away from the Canary Islands cos they tend to hold thier price quite well through this time of year.
Kos town would be good for you.

Go to Morocco, Tunisia or Egypt - Sharm-el-sheik is a good shout. approx 4 hours flying time and lots of sunshine!

Turkey. It shold be just under 4 hours to fly, it's incredibly cheap there and absolutely beautiful

try the algarve in portugal, flight time 2 hours and there are some good deals

at this time of year i usually do tenerife, always good weather and generally all the canary islands are great at this time of year.
