Introspection may be used synonymously with self-reflection and used in a similar way. This is not so easy for me to answer. It seems there is nary a time when I fail to be introspective, especially this time of year. I would venture to say the evening, just after dinner. Those last few hours before calling it a day do tend to get me pondering just about everything.

If you mean TIME OF DAY, I would answer at about 3 in the morning - or, in the shower. Both are good for me. But my introspection is not in sync with the sun or the moon. It happens more as a result of somebody's input/statement/response.

Right now...
It's 3:56 in the morning and i'm just free to be introspective.
No one is up and it's just me and my thoughts.
It's the silence that does this to me. The sight of my journals that are gathering dust. The absolute melancholy of having my husband in Egypt. The delirium i'm starting to feel as a result of too little sleep.
So... i suppose my answer is "late at night".
