providing the social needs with engineering new ideas?

who can explain me the way for performing the social and human changes to improve its quality with the new engineering ideas, in the other hand is there any graduation for doing that as an expert, you know we need to do that but not only sole experience as engineering or others could do that. i am chemical engineer who want to continue my graduation for this purpose.

Well, definitely engineering is greatly influencing societies.
For example, engineering assists medical doctors to achieve better treatment, pharmaceuticals, operations, data collection and utilization, ....
Also, food is being more ample and more people can be fed, due to engineering advances.
Communications are improved and easier, extending human imagination, spirit, commuting, transportation, ....
Thus, as engineering new ideas and products are in place, the societies are utilizing them to, most of the times, make their life better!
