My own top 5:
#5: "Live and let live." If they aren't hurting anyone with what they're doing, then leave them alone.
#4: "Do unto others..." I try to be the best person I can be by keeping true the Golden Rule.
#3: Contrary to popular belief, money does not and can not buy love or happiness.
#2: No one else can "complete me". I am a complete person on my own. Someone else in my life is not the icing on the cake, but the ice cream on the side making it that much better.
And #1: I stay true to myself. I listen to my conscious and follow my instincts.

Work my butt off to make my American Dream come true. Make as much money as I can to be able to live comfortably. Try to be positive and see everyone's side of the story. Give most everyone the benefit of the doubt, until they cut you off in traffic! Lol! Make people laugh, especially when they feel their worst! Never having to regret what I haven't done. Being proud of everything I've accomplished.

my approach to LIFE is just to do the best i can do in whatever i can do..take things as they come and don't plan too much. not much of competitiveness in my mind, at least not in the vicious corporate sense.
