I think so, i dont think he is all that great, its college ball and i just dont see him tossing over the oline. People all talked about Lienart, smith year before but i liked Cutler. He is a QB, Stands in the pockets doesnt run like a puss and will deliver the ball. I think Vick is a great athlet but a sucky QB, He should be a wr or rb.
QB IS WHEN YOU THROW THE BALL!!NOT RUN LIKE A PUSS !!!~

Couldn't agree with you more. Although Leinart is more of a West Coast offense kind of guy. He lacks the big arm and definitely will not chase down anyone in the league. Young and Vick like to think that the other 10 guys on offense are their because the rules dictate that there be 11 guys on the field. I say move them to running back and let them get pounded on unti lthey realize what their job requirements are. They kind of remind of Willie Beamen from "Any Given Sunday."

It's funny how I notice all the people to answer this with negativity are the same ones that have been trashing Ohio State. Troy Smith has been throwing the ball all season with great accuracy!! He avoids the tackle and gets the pass off!!! Only a few times far and between has he ran the ball this season. Not sure he will be the next Randle Cunningham but definitly a NFL prospect. Only time will tell.

Not sure where you are going with this question. But I am sure you realize that Troy doesn't just cut and run. He has matured greatly this year, as far as sticking it out and passing the ball. He has had holes and remained poised, to throw the ball. I don't like the plays that are intended for him to run. Don't force it, let it come natural. If a large hole opens and it is a first down..then go.

Troy is a better passer than Vick, ever dreamed of being. He will play Pro ball, and he will surpass the likes of Young, Vick, and Cunningham.

Troy Smith is only a mediocre quarterback at best. If not for his supporting cast making him look good, he would never be in the running for the Heisman. Cunningham-no. Aaron Brooks-perhaps. There are MANY college quarterbacks putting up better numbers than Troy Smith. I'm not trying to diss Troy, but enlighten you.

Sounds like you've already answered your own question with your own bias.

I can only assume the Buckeyes have beaten your college team recently and this is your pathetic child like way of getting back at the leading Heisman contender.

I'll take a QB who can pass and then decide to cut and run when he needs to over a QB who sits and waits in the pocket until he gets sacked.

Troy Smith will be the next Antwan Randle El, if he's lucky. Probably more like Eric Crouch. No way he plays QB in the NFL.

Cunningham who? Randall? I don't think he's even that good a prospect for the NFL.
