A lot of people don't like our politics or our president, some of us don't like them either, but seeing as how we can't fire him, we're stuck until the next election.
Everybody has to bash something and America is a good place to start even if there is no real reason. It's become a fad, I think, and everyone wants to jump on the band wagon.
We can't expect anything less when we do it ourselves. We show disrespect to America and so will everyone else.

I hold no grudge against the people. It's the politicians who i "disagree" with. They have a "boot in your face" attitude toward the poor nations. You call that gaining respect, it's called being a bully. If only the politicians knew a concept called "humbleness". If they could see other countries as equals and not in how much money or resources they have. If they did that, i would be more than happy to support America all the way. what good has fear brought? what good has beating the poor into a pulp brought? What good is a million dollars if it was the end of the world?
I am not hating the fact that you have bill gates being a saint and giving money to the needy. I wish there was a way to help people like BIll gates because if he was the president, i would pray that he goes to heaven everyday.

Due to some unwise policies of the Bush administration, we have made a lot of people angry at us. They resent the attitude of the United States and they have lost respect for us. In the view of the world, we have become a big bully pushing other countries around. We attacked preemptively a sovereign nation that had never shown the first sign of aggression toward the USA. We totally devasatated their country. We were lied to about reasons for going there. There was absolutely no proof that Iraq was harbor to Bin Laden or that they had WMD. We invaded and innocents died. A lot of good American military members were sacrificed needlessly. How do you realistically think the world would view such an action? That was planned long before 9/11 attacks. Bush would have used any excuse to invade. Beofre you start with the love it or leave it rhetoric, please remember that not everybody who is patriotic agrees with the policies of this administration. Read the words of Thomas Jefferson about blindly following any leader. Bush has made us the world bully and people resent it.

Bashers of America weather American or not , do not love putting this what used to be a great nation down. It hurts in the gut to see where our leaders ( so called) have taken America. When I realized the truth about 911, I was sick physically. I still get sick from thinking about it. Every day we slide deeper and deeper into hell. Can anyone honestly show me how wonderful America has become, show me the home of the free and the brave. I'll show you a people who are kept in a constant state of fear and terror. A new government with plans for it's people surpassing those of the Hitler's and Nazi's. God help us!

For quite some time now our over seas policies and diplomacy have been very destructive to other nations. We now have a president who is quick to send troops and very slow to try diplomacy.
Believe it or not having foreign troops on your soil dose not create worm fuzzy feelings. How would you feel if Canada were invaded, or Hicksville Kentucky (yes that's a real town).
It worries me that the US government rules manly because its people don't take the time and study the issues they just vote for the good looking one who seems to be a nice guy.

The only thing I'm jealous of is the fact that you have more sunshine than we do..... lol. Try and ignore the negative and concentrate on the positive it makes for a happier life hon.. Peace.. xx

I think it's because of our ideals of freedom and liberty. They expect a lot more from us than other countries. Lately, it seems we are adding to the world's problems rather than helping solve the world's problems.
It's worse when most people can see a better way to solve the problems than the policy the heads of the government are supporting. It's not jealousy. It's disappointment.

Thomas Jefferson said that it is the duty of every American to be critical of the government so that it never gets out of hand, and THIS particular administration has DEFINITELY gone way over the line. By the way, NEVER confuse bashing Bush --- who more than deserves it for his despicable unconstitutional behavior --- with bashing the U.S.; they're two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things!

No, it's just now that our faults are clearly exposed that we are now the laughing stock of world politics. I would say people aren't bashing America, but our leaders who represent us in the world view.
