I think Yvette Fielding and her husband Karl (the producer), who came up with the original idea, are genuine and endeavour to make the TV show so. But it will be edited to make it more exciting - but that doesn't mean they make things up.

I do think it could be better i.e. the cameras NEVER seem to be on an object, or rarely, just as it starts moving by itself. They would need a lot of money I guess to completely wire up an old haunted house with cameras at every angle, and they would need to call in independent experts to verify that there was no trickery going on, to silence to sceptics. But even then, there would be someone who would come up with a reason why it would be fake.

At the end of the day you either believe or don't believe, and a TV programme is unlikely to convince you otherwise.

When Derek was in it, I think it was a scam, but now this new guy is in it, it seems more plausible. He finds things out that they have to research later (on the live one) and they've caught things on camera (webcam) that they haven't picked up on. Like a woman in a victorian dress, I saw it on the webcam but by the time they turned up it disappeared. If they had orcastrated it, they would've spent a good 5 minutes 'finding' it and chopsing about it. Plus, its just started to get more violent, with crew getting injured or knocked out!! So even if it is a scam, its probably the best thing on at that time of night!

If you are talking about haunted houses, they are real.Last Halloween,my freinds and I went to thos old house that had been empty for years. What happened was the couple that lived there didn't like kids so anytime a kid would come on thier property, they would capture the kid and put it in a gullotine and chop the kid's head off. They even did this to their own kid when they were born and the husband killed the wife and killed himself.
Anyway,my freinds and I started loking around the house and we found the gullitone and it had dried blood on it and we found a trap door and we saw skeletons of these kids that they killed and we were walking outside to leave and we heard these footsteps in the hallway above us and we heard a faint voice that said "I hate kids..I hate kids.."Needless to say,we were spooked so we got the heck out of there and got in the car which was parked in the field across from the house and we looked and lights started going on and off in different rooms of the house and we looked up and there was a ghost of the husband in front of the car! And,when we put the car in drive,he disappeared. The house got torn down 5 months ago but man-it was real freaky.

Of course its for real just the look on that bird's face what's her name Yvette Fielding and her vocabulary when they stumble across a ghost going about its nightly hauntings. My only concern is i think she thinks all ghost's are french which she doesn't speak very well, if you get my meaning. I would love it if a ghost did appear i wonder what they would all do then **** themselves i suppose.

Common, you know its fake! Why if they can do that. Can't they find Jo Bene's (sp?) real killer or Marlyn Monroe's, or prove O.J. did it. Or summon Einstein or someone who would help us. Not some chaimbermaid who had an affair with the boss and was killed by a candlestick in the parlour by his wife 100 years ago. What up wit dat?

I think as the series has gone on it ahs become more and more false. If you look at the early series, hardly anything ever happened and Derek Acorah hardly got possessed. As the series' went on something started happening every week.

I do believe in the spiritual world and I have seen things and experienced things that cannot be explained. I think Derek Acorah is gifted (I have seen him live twice) but has sold himself out on the TV shows he does.

I think it's defo a scam with a capital S.

Derek Akorah is a load or shi.te, I have seen him live too, utter cra.p!!!!

Although I must say it is hysterically funny when he says the spirit goes onside him and he starts shouting etc in a different voice!!!

I think it’s a bit of both, I have seen orbs on there playback but in real time I have never seen one and as for the physics I do believe them sometimes but they can be really vague.

If you believe in ghost then you would think it is real. If you don't then it's the biggest piece of c..p on the telly. I believe in ghost and think the programme is s..t. so scam....
