Sounds nasty. Depending on what it's eaten, making the dog vomit might do more harm than good. Get it to the vet STRAIGHT AWAY, and if you've got a container for whatever it's eaten, take that with you.
The vet should be able to advise you on how to take care of the dog from here on out. There you go - now turn off the computer and get to the vet's!

If you have phoned the vet what are you doing on here and not at the vet with your dog?????????????? If your dog ate poison the vet would have told you to bring the dog in. The dog need specialist treatment and needs to be put on a drip there is nothing you can do at home for the dog. SO GET YOU DOG TO THE VET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be taking the dog to the vet now.
Also when you rang the vet they should have given you advice about what to do. Talk to your vet, not a bunch of people on the internet.

um...find a copy of ff7, go into battle, build your rage meter until you hit overdrive with aires, and cast her overdrive healing spell through the tv to the doggy. problem solved.

Give it a spoonful of peroxide.. this is supposed to make them vomit (to vomit the poison up).
