As i said i just got a promotion and I am so scared of failing and dissapointing not only myself and others.

I realised that the position is much more riskier than my previous position, the truth is i so scared of stuffing up!

How do i talk about salary increase?
Or how should i approach them regarding money?

No, do NOT ask for a salary increase now. Get into your new job, learn it, do it and in 3 or 6 months your supervisor will be ready to either offer you a salary increase or be open to your request. Just because you have been promoted doesn't mean you deserve or get a salary increase. People need to see first if you can do the job.

As for the job itself...They promoted you because you showed them you could do a previous job. They promoted you and your attitudes and skills. Just keep on working the way you always have. Learn your job. Take your time. It'll take a while to get used to it. Don't think of it as a promotion upward, think of it as an expansion of your responsibilities. Keep on doing what you've always done in the same way and add your new responsibilities. Just remember that you can climb a hill only one step at a time. The same thing for a new job. Do your best every day. After a while, you'll have learnt your new job. It's normal to be nervous, but don't spend your time worrying--put your nervous energy into your work.

First things first. You ARE going to fail.

You are going to fail at being perfect.

But the bright side is, everyone who has ever been in your shoes has been a failure.

You will need new skills, like self-confidence, ability to manage people, and most importantly, ability to manage expectations.

Do not be afraid, instead be PREPARED. Prepare yourself to show your human side, yet show your strength and willingness to take on more, and bounce back when problems arise.

Ask for more money, and tell them that people who risk big falls get paid more than people who risk nothing.

Do your own best, and believe me, even you will be satisfied with the result.

If you got a promotion you're probably a manager now.

Managers get paid to make decisions... so make them.

Your company thinks you're the best person for the job... they understand you'll make mistakes, everyone does. Enjoy your new job, work harder than everyone else.

They probably already have a plan in place for what you are going to get paid. Talk to the HR dept. and find out.
