Who does Gambit love more? Rogue or Belladonna?

Question

For those of you who are familiar with the story of Rogue and Gambit in the X-Men comics, and the story about Gambit's background, him being married to Belladonna before all that Thieves, Guild and Assasins things, who do you think did/does Gambit love more? Rogue or Belladonna?

Please explain why.

BTW, I know the story of their romance. But from reading it, I still wonder who he loves more, Rogue or Belladonna? So I need your judgment based on what you've read.

Great question. It would be close but I would say Rogue

Reasoning: Yes, Belladonna was his 1st wife, BUT it was basically an arranged marriage in an attempt to unite the Assasin's and Thieves's Guilds. Both of them were too young to really have any say in the marriage and as a result..well, we saw how that ended. By the time he met Rogue he was old enough to know what he wanted and didn't have to answer to anyone

But I AM curious if Remy would have stayed w/ Genevive *I think that was her name...he met her in Paris and he seemed fully prepared to spend his life w/ her..until she was murdered by Sabertooth*

Belladonna, was more a person of his past with the Thieves Guild when he was younger. He knew nothing else around him but that. Belladonna was more a "responsibility" than anything else .Rogue is his true heart/kindred spirit. He was an adult, more mature to know what love is about, when he met her. Besides, she brings more adventure to his life than just seriousness/burden like Belladonna.

Remy Lebeau is second rate at best. Rogue is way out of his league. That is why he probably loves her more. She should wash her hands of him.
