when i type something into the search web part on the yahoo page it brings up my answer then when i click on answer i get brought to another search page called wak web or oxy search is any1 else getting this

You may have a browser hijacker.

It sounds like something has installed itself as your search preference without your knowledge. This sometimes happens with Wikipedia portals.
I suggest doing a disk clean up to delete old internet files and reset your home page. Then run spyware detecter from Yahoo! toolbar.

My hunch is a hijacker spyware that is redirecting your searches to a website which is made to perform in the first place. Try downloading some spyware rmover in this site :
http://www.download.com and at the search box type "spyware"

I think you have Adware on your system.

Do a search for SPYBOT 1.4, download and install it. It will clear off spyware and adware.

sounds like you have picked up some malware, try downloading and running Adaware, it should clean up all the nasties from your system
