Italians? I think pizza, pasta and football. Mafia isn't high on my agenda. I tend to look for things in common. It's amazing how many conversations you can have with people who speak another language, just by naming footballers and world cup incidents.
Congratulations on beating the French, by the way - pity FIFA always side with them and Zidane escaped serious punishment, while Matarazi had to serve a ban. And nobody investigated Henry for blatantly cheating against Spain to get the free kick that got them to the final in the first place!

I love Italians and everything Italian, my grandparents came from a place in Italy called Villa Latina, I am very proud of who they were and were they were from, Italian people are passionate about family, food, culture, life and love, wonderful people Italians.

When I think of Italians I think of culture, great Music, Great Art, Great Architecture, great culinary skills, nice weather, good looking people - whats not to like?

the only Italians i comprehend are Luigi Rizotto, fat Tony, Silvio Berlusconi, Marco Materazzi and Sonia Gandhi (the queen of India). they're superb people yet are many times caught in controversy.

they make good pizza and pasta but are divers in football. English people think they are better than the italians, and quite frankly, they are.

The not-so-good.
The talk too loud and shout a lot.
Wave their arms around all the time.
Italian men always try to steal your girlfriend/wife.
Venice is a dump
However:
Great food,
Good place for a holiday
Fantastic architecture
Ferrari
Beautiful women
And they don't smell as bad as the French!

They are nice but like anyone I am around that knows I'm not familiar with their language I feel feel left out when they all start not speaking english.

I think they really wonderful, i love the culture but then i'v never really spent time wth alot of italien ppl.
