What's all about Jim Morrison and Stairway to Heaven ?

As we know he died in 1971 and as i've heard he had a version of Stairway to Heaven , but that song from Zeppelin is later performed.So is it posible , the original to be from Jim Morrison and not from Led Zeppelin?
Or am i wrong in something?

you are wrong....morrison and the doors had nothing to do with stairway to heaven

I met one of the brothers that co-wrote the lyrics to that song, they traded it for a bottle of whiskey.
