Voltaire (1694-1778) was a french philosopher, and is considered to be one greatest minds of the Enlightenment period. Voltaire was a French ( i believe) philosophire from the time of the Revolt. He rallied the people for a very long time eventually causeing the uprise and revolt. Goggle his name and you will get a better idea of him. Make sure to add revolt to the search or you will pull up the band site for a very good goth musician by the same name.
