you are at a football game and climb to the top until you are looking over how do you drop the egg and not break it (a boiled egg) won;t be accepted. I have done this myself think about it..............

It can fall forever, it is the decelleration of the stop which causes deformation and shattering. If it is gradual, it will not break, an egg shell is amazingly strong.
