I would say "Boulevard of broken Dreams", but I see you've thought of that. Maybe "unfaithful" of Rihanna? It makes me cry. Also "Total Eclipse of the Heart" of Bonnie Tyler, but you may have never heard of it. And how about "Fix you" of Coldplay?
