I suppose it's okay - really dumb, but okay since it will grow back, so no permanent damage is done. As for me, I am an adult, and I don't want to look like a little girl! Why anyone would go through all the pain, itching, cuts, etc. to do this is totally beyond me. They didn't even shave me when my baby was born - said it caused so much itching that it wasn't worth doing, and a good wash was all that was needed for cleanliness.

I see absolutely no pros unless it's somehow a fashion thing. But ugh, it's really a horrid thing to do to yourself. I guess porn stars started doing it, but why any woman with norrmal self-respect would want to be like one of them is a puzzle. Unless your guy is really into porn, and in that case I'd suggest dumping him.

I a nurse currently on night duty. We currently have a patient who shaves down there but has developed an infected hair folical, which has gotten so bad she is now on IV antibiotics and regular pain relief. Up to you, but if you do use a sharp razor and keep an eye out for any ingrown hairs.

Trimming. I guess that's more appropriate than shaving. The purpose for having pubic hair at the genital area is to protect our genitals from pathogen (disease causing microorganisms) invasion. However, the problem is, if there are too much hair, it could cause an aweful, bad smell. Better trim it at least half to one inch but not shave it cause you will lose the natural mechanism of the body to get rid of bacteria. Moreover, be careful when you trim. You might get a cut...ouch! Good Luck!

extremely i think clean after I shave "down there". it really is amazingly nerve-racking before each little thing, and also you will get extremely some pink bumps, yet they get better suited in case you nonetheless do it. if you're in a relationship adult adult males look to like it shaved. It also seems an awful lot better suited in a washing healthy :)

A con is when the hair starts to grow back...... oh my gosh !!! It's very ITCHY. The pro would be it feels really good when you have sexual contact. Sorry, I hope I did not offend you, as you may not be sexually active, but now you know for future reference.

Pros: It looks cleaner and when your boy (or girl) goes down on you, they have less hair in their mouth.

Cons: It itches like hell when it starts to grow back the first time.
