You might not be seeing it in full HD. All screens capable would normally display the HD mark!

If it's a plasma that means it's a pretty recent TV, right? Based on that Id say it most probably is. Check by searching the name of the TV on Google (or should I say Yahoo!)...

if your plasma is not hd compatable it will not display in hd
weather or not you switch your xbox to hd or not

if it works, it works... I think you just answered your own question - real test is going to be receiving HD transmissions on cable or satellite

looks like they forgot to put the hd label on the tv.. try it with sky hd sport... to be sure, to be sure!!
