What should I do to be a true Christian and to lead people to do good?

By example and not preaching. People don't like that.

Have you asked Jesus to live thru you and forgive you for your life of sin? If so then you are a true Christian,....but it must be daily that you give your life to him......worship him as reverently and passionately as you can in private. Invite the Holy spirit to be in you and all around you daily asking God to empty you and fill you with him........Read your Bible , try to memorize some helpful verses that you know might help others.....and every chance you get be a friend, and guide to all in need of anything,...whether it be food, money,...wisdom,...hug,....and a bit of checkin in the name of the Lord.....you are on the right track because you even ask the question in the first place......God bless you my friend and see you when we are at The Great Wedding!
