They are leaving trials in the grass (just the weight of their bodies making these trials) and it only seems to be one corner of the garden.

I said a squirrel on the interior reach park. it isn't unusual in maximum parts yet I do stay on the city & the park in elementary words has some kin cats who wander in and the collection of canines on leashes with vendors. The park is discreet with some trees - magnolias, olive, evergreens in tiny communities, so the squirrel is fairly a wonder. There have also been the occasional opossum, a pair of raccoons once, a hawk, a black phoebe. Over 15 yrs in the past even as i develop into backpacking and sitting at trailside, a white mountain goat dropped down interior 5 ft and then sprong off. We were both both nervous i think. i develop into some distance behind some thing of the crew so as that no one else said the shape.

Hmmmm. I would ask what you have planted in that corner of your garden and then call a local college to speak with someone there who would be able to tell you what sort of animal feeds on that diet and leaves that kind of track but if you don't mind waiting you could pick up a live trap and set it in that corner to see what you might catch. Do let me know what you find. Your question sounds very intriguing!!!

In order for the animals to have a trial, they must set up a courtroom, so the marks you see are probably from the judges bench and the lawyers tables and from the rabbits (rabbits are always lawyers) pacing back and forth in front of the judges bench to present their arguments. If you put them down a small piece of carpet or rug, they will be forever grateful and the next time you need a lawyer, the rabbits might give you a discount on their fee.

LEARN TO SPELL PEOPLE !!!!!!!!

Giant slugs? Foxes? Rabbits? Hedgehogs? Depends where you live, could be possums or wombats or coyotes. Stay up one night with a torch and check it out. Or lay a sand trap to capture their tracks, just spread a layer of sand over the grass and smooth it out. When the animals walks over it, they'll leave tracks which you might be able to identify

Don't know where you live, but in Colorado, the bears are coming into the neighborhoods, in Alaska, it could be moose, bears, and those kind of animals. If in California, it could be coyotes, foxes, stray dogs, (could be that anywhere). . . depends on where you live and how much weight you think the animal weighs. Hope it is not "Big Foot". .

i would set up a camera to find out... a couple of months ago i had the same problem. i set up a camera and found out it was one of my neighbours, she is an elderly lady and she used to creep out and drag a cheese and onion pie round my lawn. she had it on a piece of string. i confronted her with video evidence and she admitted doing it.
since then we have become lovers and now drag pies with various fillings around other people's gardens. we plan to be married in the new year.
maybe you can find true love this way too.

Sounds like a fox - they're moving more into urban areas now looking for food.
