I am a huge Arsenal and Wenger fan, but I don't think Rooney is a diver. He may not always make the best decisions (eg. World Cup this year against Portugal), but he's usually just a tough, player.

I do not think Rooney is generally a diver. I have seen him many times try to stay on his feet when he is being hustled and bustled by defenders. He will try remain on his feet if he feels there is a scoring opportunity for himself or one of his team mates. He does not look for the tackle and think can I get a penalty here. I think he is a very honest player. I admire Wenger and what he has done for Arsenal but they have had some divers. It is strange if he is asked about his own players he always says he was not in a position to see what happened. Very convenient.Ronaldo at Man Utd used to dive but this season he appears to have stopped and he is a much better player for it. I am afraid that the vast influx of foreign players brought about a huge increase in diving and it must be stamped out..

Well everyone will be watching Rooney for diving now so he has put pressure on himself....Wenger was remembering Rooney's dive last season against Arsenal, to get United a penalty.

Wenger, or as all true gunners know him as "The Grand Master"
is a master tactician and has a fabulous football brain....
Rooney though a skilled player has the IQ of a a soccer ball...
I do not think there is not much debate here...I think Rooney should leave his feet to do the talking and lets see....!

Rooney's right! I don't remember hearing one honest word from Wenger. Every time he talks about his players, they are all sacred, free of any sin! But when he comments on other teams...!Just bullshit!
