Some of these people answering these questions need to seriously go back to school and work on their comprehension a bit. The question didn't ask anything about raping. Kobe Bryant is the best player in the league right now. He was bothered by a bum knee last year and look what he did! So, he isn't just good - he's GREAT! Wilt is an NBA LEGEND and how many titles did he win? If someone thinks Kobe hasn't already reached legendary status, they're crazier than Knicks fans. As he marks the second half of his career with a number change, we will see something from Kobe that has never been seen before. All I know is, Wilt's record is NOT SAFE!!!

He is a good player but is he great? I don't think so as great players make the players around them better. Kobe is a ball hog and he could probably score 100 in a game but what is the pt.? Wilt scored 100 in a game but how many championships did he lead teams to vs. Bill Russell's record?

Kobe is good, but I think there are more complete players in the league right now. I think he will get a couple of 60-65 point games.

110 points. Why? Think about this. He scored 55 points in one half. If he does that for two halves he's got 110. He made 18 points with the clock stopped (free throws). He's made 23 points in free throws twice in his career. 21 points from three's. Against Seattle he made 36 points worth of three's. One more thing, ... the night he scored 81, he only played for 42 minutes.

Kobe is good even with a bum knee (which is healing, I suppose). The real question is whether he will be great.

He should be able to score 52.
