Do you feel your rights are been violated?? I mean why Bush feels he has the authority to prohibit me to play a buck or two on an slot machine over the internet on a boring night??!!!!
I'm not a gambler, I enjoy to play once a month on online casinos when my daughter stays at her father's house....but I guess Bush is not allowing me to do so anymore....
It's not just online gambling the government is trying to regulate over the worldwide web.....now they are going after internet dating services.
At this pace, he will criminalize unprotected sex or eating habits....why not? Airlines now charge a double ticket to over weighted people, maybe there should be laws about that as well....imagine how much money is being spent because of AIDS, STDS or obesity....
I would like to hear your thoughts about this Online Gambling Law and if you feel something can be done....

Well, like everything else, the govt added up how much they were losing in revenues from internet gambling and felt they needed more money for their pockets.

I'm not quite familiar with this law or online gambling either. But it seems like it has a purpose, after all, a lot of young kids get addicted and gamble their money away. If you really want to gamble then go to a casino, I'm sure there are plenty of things to do at home when you are bored other than online gambling.

There has to be politics in it somewhere. They said that most of the gambling comes out of London, and now London is going to pull out of the US because of the law.

I don't think anything can be done as it stands now, unless someone appealed to the Supreme Court.

I don't gamble on-line, but I feel as you do, they are just taking away another one of our freedoms by telling us what we can and cannot do.

They tried to tell restaurants to limit the size of their servings, because the Americans are getting too fat. How about that?

I don't like gambling, so I support abolishing it all.

Same goes for tobbaco and alcohol. If they just disappeared, I'd be happy as a clam.

However, I think it is right infringment and unconstitutional. You did pay to have the internet, you're paying to view it, and all that jazz. You should be able to gamble.

I may not support gambling, but I support people's rights.

How did Bush come into this. It is a State thing. Before Bush they had it in Iowa and we can not get in Nebraska and Bush has no say in the matter let alone Congress.

Republicans are trying to grab votes by portraying themselves as "moral", despite the reality of their lack of morals (especially noticeable in the last week).
