Don't respond by saying "Why are stupid people ASKING questions at Yahoo! Answers?"
I mean most of you are really stupid so stop wasting peoples time with one word answers or just dumbass responses.

There are several reasons for poor answers.
1. The question is not very well worded, lacks detail or assumes there is only one way to interpret the question.
2. The question is not place in the right category.
3. There are a lot of ignorant people in the world.
4. There are many questions posed by people with a very poor command of the English language.
5. A lot of questions ask for opinion rather than facts, and as we all know, only my opinion counts. Everyone else's is stupid.
6. There are some questions that are simply stupid and that makes it very had to give an intelligent answer.

I conducted a test a while back where I asked the question "What part of the tongue tastes salty flavor" (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ao3_2njM9ztpFRI9gF2Py4vsy6IX?qid=20060801014252AAm0TNq) I got 9 responses and in my comments I wrote:
7 out of 9 got the answer flat wrong... a simple search on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/taste_bud... would have revealed the correct answer...
Okay... the tongue map is a bit of an urban legend but I posted this in the Biology section... This is science, there is one right answer... Stupid Stupid Stupid.
I believe the correct answer ration on this site is about 10%. You should see some of the math questions that are completely wrong!!

Here's why:
1) This is a points system so people need to get points fast
2) Vandals
3) The answerers are really stupid
4) The askers are stupid
5) None of above
Since you are an asker, you have to first answer the question whether you fall into 4) above before you asked about others. :)

The answer is quite simple dear Jose.
For example, you put this question in the Physics section. Now, tell me are you stupid or no?
Ofcourse it does prove one of the laws of physics. The reaction is equal and opposite to the action. You ask something and get back what you deserve.
I take hte trouble of typing all this and I get back my 2 points.

there are a lot of "sorry, I don't know!" answers floating around out there. I don't know why people bother answering just to say that - if you don't know the answer, then the question wasn't directed at you.
I guess it's people thinking that any feedback is better than none, which I disagree with.

When people give answers not all are stupid. The people asking them are the ones who should judge that not you. If you don't like the answers don't read them.
