I may not be getting enough nutrient from the water. They also like a lot of sun. Are they in a shaded area? You can try adding a liquid fertilizer (make sure it's fish safe if you have fish) and liquid iron. I had some great flowers on mine this year, but I started with some really nice stock (I have to buy new every year as my pond freezes.) I'll list the guys I bought mine from, and they can tell you more about the plants.

Plant it contained in the backyard. it's going to gradually get a lot less and a lot less hefty and could ultimately revert to form (hyacinths are very state-of-the-artwork bluebells) in spite of the indisputable fact that it might want to offer excitement for some better years, although no longer contained in the living house again.

Are they in flowing water? Hyacinths like steadily moving water and milder temperatures.

Very likely lack of sunlight.
If you have fish please be careful and use only an approved and safe for fish fertilizer.
I have never fertilized mine - enough "fish fertilizer" in the water for them.
