If she really has no grounds for feeling this way and it's just her old insecurities, then counselling will help.
It's a shared problem though, even though it's her baggage and she will be more receptive to help if you both view it that way.

why was her previous relationship bad?was it again her jealousy?I'm not sure if counselling is the answer as i believe that jealously is a personality trait just like any other and that no matter if the husband is 100 per cent honest and trustworthy, she will always be jealous of every little thing.jealousy and paranoia often go hand in hand so she'll find fault no matter what. poor guy! It's too difficult to answer this question definitively without knowing the individuals. maybe he could start acting jealous of her-turn the tables-then maybe she'll realise how irrational she is.

You must stop judging your husband on your previous relationships. I can understand to a degree where you are coming from, if you were hurt in ALL of your relationships. Ask yourself 1 question, Why did you marry your husband? Somewhere along the line he gained your trust, IE marriage. So what has gone wrong since?

Trust is the basis of a relationship. There is no point living in the past,it gets us nowhere. Not all men are the same,it will just damage the relationship and then it will go wrong because of that.

Counselling sounds like the best thing, for both of you, not just yourself. Sit down and talk to each other, but try to stay calm, as things may get pretty heated.

I hate to say it...but it sounds like she is not over her previous relationship. She needed more time to get over it.

She needs to realize that she's not married to the same man. She needs to know that he's serious when he says that he's doing nothing wrong!

marriage is a partnership, not a competition ... each of us is unique, do not assign traits of past relationships to your husband. sit down and talk this out with him to determine why you feel this jealousy.
