I'm the female. Him leaving the toilet seat up - after asking numerous times to please put it back down - there are 3 females in the house and 2 cats! And it's my house! I honored his request when I lived in his house for 3yrs. Not fixing anything around the house for months or ever - toilet handles, holes in the wall, etc. Junking my place up and not picking up after himself! It really annoys me because when it was his house he was so particular about everything and I bent over backwards to please him and to respect his property! He acts like he doesn't care because it isn't his!! There are a lot of other problems right now in our relationship though that only tends to magnify the small stuff! If we could fix the big stuff, I could probably live with the small stuff! But right now, I am so fed up that I don't even want him under the same roof most of the time. Our air is thick with tension, stress, and hostility. I am open-minded with book intelligence, he is closed-minded with street intelligence. I am layed-back, he is hyper. I am trusting, he is paranoid. I am an introvert, he is an extrovert. He is from Mars, I am from Venus. We have a lot more differences, too many to name here. So I guess it should be easy for people to understand how the little things can become major things in my household!!!

he bites his nails constantly. there's nothing left to bite. he's basically chewing on his fingers. it's so annoying!!!
