I have the same problem on and off. Do you smoke? Drink? Eat a lot of fried foods? All of these things tax your liver and according to books that I've read on Chinese medicine, the liver will take away qi, or energy, from the heart for it's own benefit if it's being put into constant states of being overworked. Chinese medicine also states that all our organs are connected and related to each other, but that the liver and heart have an especially close relationship. Also, try not eating after 7:00 pm too, because between 11pm and 3am is the time when your liver needs to rest.

Angina pectoris, also called as chest pain, is a cardiovascular manifestation of an underlying disorder, in most cases heart disorder. People who are prawn to have this are those with a familial history of cardiovascular diseases, high fat diet intake and those experiencing any kind of stress. Pain is felt due to the decrease in oxygen supply in the heart. When we are in stress, there is an increase demand of oxygen in the tissues because of an increase workload of the tissues in response to stress. More workload, more blood, more oxygen. If the heart will not receive enough blood, it would try to compensate by releasing chemical mediators of pain. And whenever we felt pain, even anywhere in the body, it is a sign of (tissue) injury. That is why as for you, try to have deep breaths more frequently to increase the oxygen in the blood. It will also give you that feeling of comfort and relaxation whenever you do deep-diaphragmatic breathing exercises.

There's really only one thing you can do which is get it checked out fast by a doctor! With all the symptoms you have described you should have gone earlier.
Your heart may be behaving erratically at night and you may be unaware of it fluttering or skipping in your sleep. This will need urgent treatment if found to be the case.

That does not sound like and anxiety attack (i know them personally).. It sounds as if you may have something going on with your heart, or blood pressure.. I think you really should not put off seeing a Dr ASAP..

Palpitations are very common in women and often mean nothing. My mom, and 2 sisters have them. They are often caused from to much caffeine and stress...

You and your heart need to make a trip to the doctor. Don't play around here looking for answers from unqualified people. See a doctor pronto.

It sounds like definite symptoms of anxiety and early depression. I had a very similar problem which took a while and alot of concentration to cure (so to speak) and if I don't watch it it recurrs and its like being in a black hole. I don't suggest anti-depressants but definately seeing a proffessional about this, don't feel like you are alone
