You should tell that how much money u have invested.Tax payable is Rs.74460 with cess is payable for male & Rs.70890 for a woman.it depends that who are u a male or a female

For a male below 65 years with no deductions and Rs. 410000 as net taxable income tax will be 74460 inclusive of education cess.

This is for financial year 2006-2007. Liability will be same if its financial year 2005-2006 as well.

Salary income consists of various heads which are given given deductions while calculating income. To get your tax liability u first need to give your salary breakup and then your investment schedule for the last year.

ur tax liability depends on your taxable income, the type of individual and for which assesement year you are filing the returns
From your salary income u need to deduct the deductions/ rebates.

below calclucation is based on no deduction/ rebates

Income-tax on Rs. 410,000 (Including Surcharge & Education cess) is Rs. 98,940
