didn't want to marry them for some reason but stayed in the relationship anyways. I'm talking about the girl not wanting to marry. What happened to the relationship?

She is probably just unsure. I think you'll know when you are ready. Maybe the girl just has a few things she'd like to achieve before marriage. I can't really identify because I don't see the point of being in a relationship that isn't leading somewhere(i.e. marriage) But if she still wants to be in the relationship and isn't just staying in it out of habit then maybe there is still a chance.

I did...I've experienced the same thing...,and I've decided to end up our relationship...it's not because of a third party.....it actually took me two years to have a fall in love again ....i just wanted to be alone in a while...anyways....i've made it because the more i stay in the relationship the more hurt i could give him...i still love him though...but when he popped the proposal i wasn't just ready yet and i asked him to wait...but as the waiting goes...i realized that I'm just hurting him for i really can't decide and see myself spending a lifetime with him yet somewhat i had just kept him waiting and i know i am hurting him in such a way...he really wants to settle down.....tha'ts a huge decision i've made i still love him then..but i dont want him to keep waiting as well...and i know he loves me so much that he was able to let go of me.

we ended up breaking up. i didn't want to marry him without him changing cause i knew if i married him he would never change cause he would feel like "well she married me so i don't have to change". i stayed in the relationship for 5 yrs cause i loved him and wanted to be with him just not a lifetime commitment with that problem.

Yes, I didnt want to marry because he was going into the military... I had never wanted to be a military wife, I didnt want him gone all the time, I didnt want to move all the time, didnt want to leave my family... Loved him DID NOT want to marry him... We have been married 4 and a half years...

Ive been there. he wanted to marry me but i didn't wanna marry him. I loved him but for no apparent reason didnt want to marry him. i ended it because i realized it wasnt going anywhere

i am a guy and i had many same relationship that i dont want to marry .
they intend to persuade me for marriage but i dont carry out.
it continues for a long time but i disturb it because i was tired from this her doing

Ouch! if you told that to your bf/gf they will cut off the relationship. if you want to continue the relationship, tell them your not ready yet or marry him/her.
