Democrat Deval L. Patrick holds a commanding lead over Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey in the race for governor, even though a majority of voters oppose his positions on immigration, income taxes, and crime, a new Boston Globe/CBS4 poll indicates

Fifty-five percent of voters surveyed supported Patrick, while Healey, the Republican nominee, was backed by 30 percent.

If I were a Republican, I'd start clearing out my desk. Right?

Not all Republicans are corrupt, rotten, immoral people my friend. There are many, like McCain and Hagel, that I admire. Sadly, the Republican Party has been hijacked and bullied by the far right and the old Republican Party that I used to respect has lost much of it's credibility.

Hopefully, their moderates can some how regain some control.

Our country needs both parties to survive as a democracy.

What we don't need is either the far right or far left having too much power.

The days of republican domination are over. They are falling from grace like flies without poop! Can you believe the party of the religious right, so dishonest, corrupt, and sexually deviant! They are liars from the President down. They cheat, they steal and WORSE yet, they are trying to mess with the consitution in their audacious attempt to remain in power.

Not going to happen.

I am sure a lot more about Bush will come to the fore soon. I feel it. He will probably be impeached after the dems take over the houses. His lies have impacted every US citizens, including the idiots that continue to support him, and the world at large.
What a shamelful Presidency!
I bet Reagan is doing somersaults in his grave right now.

I am not sure that this mess can ever be turned around, its going to take a genius. Maybe when we get both houses WE should amend the laws to allow BILL CLINTON to serve as President again and again....

Oh would a dream come true....

Same thing they said in 2004. Time will tell. Polls use too small a percentage of voters and very seldom ever poll rural people. People in Urban areas tend to vote Democrat, Rural Republican. The New York Times, CBS, NBC, etc.. etc.. are not about to step out of their comfort zone. They are absolutely clueless about rural areas and their people.

Who the hell cares its Taxachusetts. Damn turkey herders couldn't elect a sensible politician if the tried. They still got that boob Kennedy and his lackey Kerry. Kerry voted against the border protection bill and Kennedy must have been drunk because he didn't even vote. What a bunch of losers.
