Give yourself permission to grieve what you have lost and then renew interest in a hobby and keep yourself busy. Telling you to get over it or there are other fish in the ocean is not going to help you right now. You lost something very dear to you and you will miss them for a while, but the pain will get better and you will be able to grow from this experience and have a better relationship the next time around.

Good luck and I am sorry for your loss.

Honestly? I know exactly how you are feeling. Unfortunately I have a child with my ex. So he has to come back every week. Each time I see him, it hurts more and more. Its only been a week. I hope it gets better for you. I cant stand seeing someone feeling this way.

I am sorry to hear of your pain. I know that one of the hardest things to do is to get the heart to stop feeling what the head knows to be impractical, and sometimes we just have to grin and bear it and give the feelings time to fade. Also, you are not alone. There is Someone who is close to the brokenhearted

One word, COUNSELING ! yes it may seem strange, but if you aren't strong in faith you need some extra help from a proffesional who will be able to give you stratezing methods as well as excellent coping ways to better help you deal with it.. Time is usually the best band aid, but getting to that point is a doozie.. Try it and let me know how it works...
