i think you mean the unfertilized egg...not the ovary..the egg comes from the overy...it probably passes out with your monthly period..or just disintigrates

Sorry it is not the ovary that has to be fertilized! It is the egg that is stored in the ovary. You ovary remains where it should be. If you did not have both of your ovaries you would never conceive. Well that is not true entirely. You can conceive with one ovary.

I think you mean ovum (egg)? It goes out with the endometrium and who could find it amidst all that blood?! If it doesn't go down the fallopian tube and wanders into the abdomenal cavity, it just gets absorbed up like any other dead cell (but fertilized, that's an ectopic!)

well, first of all, it's not the ovary - it's the egg, the ovary is where all the eggs are stored. And it gets disgarded with the blood.

It is not the ovary but egg which is fertililized with the sperm .If it is not fertilised it is released with the blood ,every month .
