Hi, the Fiat Palio 1.2 is a pretty good car. It scores in terms of build quality in which its competitors are of no match. The ride and handling is also excellent in the Fiat. Its a really good car for the highways as it feels very confident at speeds.
Now coming to the negative side, u'll find the Palio's engine a bit lazy in the city traffic conditions. It needs frequent gear shifting which is quite irritating. The mileage is also not great. The interiors look some what outdated. The Fiats bigest drawback is its service network, but with the recent join of hands with TATA lets hope it improves.
The final verdict, if u're so sure of buying the Fiat wait till Jan2007 . Thats when the new Palio will be launched with the new 1.3 Multijet engine which is a brilliant one. If u feel the waitin period is too long then go for the Suzuki Swift.

Why do u want to buy a flop car. leave the idea. go for maruti, hyundai, honda,toyota,etc.

this model has been discontinued,so spares are not available.so please dont buy this car. Have look at similar cars like xing, indica v2, etc. man they are really good cars.
