In the movies, zombies never eat each other. Why is this so?

They only eat live brains. They have dead brains. Same goes for Vampires. They can not drink blood from a dead person. the idea is that the living tissue is the only thing keeping them alive.

The same reason in horror films vampires only tend to suck the blood from people, in the original Bram Stoker book Dracula is supposed to have killed everything on the ship to England, including all the animals, and they find dead sheep before he takes a human victim on land. But dead sheep are not that scary, so in modern films they skip all the animal killing and go straight to the humans, thus making it scary. With Zombies the idea is they need 'living flesh' for the same reason we don't eat rotting meat, most animals hunt to eat, the zombies have been reduced to their animal base, but unlike lions they cannot digest rotting meat because they have human digestive systems. I'm sure if the zombies were smart enough to use refrigeration and packet meat then they would. The other idea is that the zombies were engineered by (the Government, a mad doctor or the Nazis) as a weapon to attack people, but then they escape. In regards to the question of them digesting the meat I think the idea is that they are too stupid to know any better, in fact because they can't digest it they are always hungry.

In the movies, it's because it's not really scary or horrific if a zombie eats a zombie. Just one less zombie for the human to deal with.

In real life, we're not sure why they don't. They will eat the fleash of a dead human, but they prefer living. Which we also don't understand, as a zombie's taste buds don't work.

Because they have tried each other and they dint like the taste of stale flesh that's why maybe. And like you know a lion will never eat a lion and a shark will never eat a shark similarly a zombie will never eat another zombie

Because they enjoy living flesh, not dead flesh.

Also, in many Zombie movies, they eat the brains of the living. Something about living flesh/brains gives them sustenance.

Who cares if zombies eat each other? Only when they eat humans, does the situation become serious. Zombies eating zombies won't even make the ten o'clock news.

Because the directors of the movies are biased against zombies and do not want to show them doing any good (such as eating other zombies). That's why you only ever see zombies terrorizing people and small pets.

Zombie flesh is tough, gamey, and generally does not have a good flavor. Tabasco sauce doesn't seem to help.

Maybe for the same reason that sharks don't eat lawyers---professional courtesy.
