Hi my name is Trevor and I have fallen in love with a girl I work with named Shanie she is 19 and I am 24 and we get on really well I was thinking about telling her I love her even though we have not yet been on a date I have fallen in love with her from the very first day I met her. And this is the first time I have ever fallen in love I mean yes I have had crushes on girls before but the feelings I have for Shanie are so much more than a crush. But before I tell her how I feel I was just going to ask for some girls advice if this is a good idea or not.

Ummm I would take her out on a few dates first before telling her that. I do believe in love at first sight, but at the same time, the "L" word can be scary for people especially in brand new relationships. I'm sure your feelings are real but at the same time, ask her out first before you try planning the rest of your life with her. Good luck!

Ok. One thing. Before I answer your question. You must remember that love is a commitment. It is a sacrifice. If you love her then you must be prepared to make commitments and sacrifices.
From what you tell me, I think Shanie thinks of you as a friend. If you suddenly tell her you love her and she doesnt', things may get awkward between you two and well it's not the way you want things to be.
I would avdvice going on a date with her first. See if she likes you as well instead of jumping into relationship. If say she only thinks of you as a friend, try and go out with her more, drop more hints, but don't do anything to destroy the bond you have.
So, good luck!

No Trevor it's not a good idea to tell her you Love her yet. First of all, you may spook her and run her away. Secondly you are very young and yes you may have strong feelings for her, but I am more than sure it's not love. Love is mutual, believe it or not...Not being on a date concerns me, you may know her at work, and love the way she is there, but what about outside of work? She may end up being a whole different type of young lady that surprisingly you may not like...Give it some time and definitely get to know her on a more personal level please....Alway's remember you should never ever date anyone you work with..YOU DON'T GET YOUR HONEY FROM WHERE YOUR BREAD COMES FROM !!!

Telling her you love her might scare her away so first go out on a few dates, take it slow, pick a good opportunity when the setting is right and then mention the L word.

Hi Trevor, We don't want to scare the girl off.How would you feel,if someone you know, but never dated, came up to you,and said,i love you...What you need to do,is ask her out,and get to know each other for awhile. If you think after dating her for awhile that there something between you two,Yes then tell her you love her. Good Luck My Friend...

I think you should go on a date first before you start telling her you love her. If you say you love her first ... you may scare her off.

Ask her out and get to know her first.
Outside of work she may be a totally different person.

Maybe she is a pig who farts and burps a lot.
Maybe she has a boyfriend already
Maybe he is into girls
Maybe her family will be so awful they will kill all feelings because you will have to deal with THEM too!
Maybe she is a drunk.
Maybe she has totally opposite social beliefs than you

Take it slow

My man said he loved me when he first saw me. didn't understand it but I quess were meant to be ... either way you sound like a good guy and what girl wouldn't wonna settle down with you... but that's the point ... if she's willing to settle down and be with only you then go ahead and tell her...but if she has some immature ways then don't get upset if she leaves you hangin'.... expect the unexpected and you'll never be disappointed....

you can't just tell her if you haven't even dated yet. try going out for some time and if you pass onto the boyfriend-girlfriend phase you know you are on the right way. still, don't drop it on her like a bomb. timing is everything.
