The safest is no sex...

ideally...abstanice. No birth control is 100% - I, myself, was an IUD baby and I have 2 kids of my own now and both of them are birth control babies, (I was extremely strict on my pills for health reasons - and I was supposed to be infertle too...figure that one out) anyway...all forms of bc have side effects that you really need to consider (after a few years on the pill, my hair started falling out - I tried another and got cyst like acne, not to mention all the hormonal issues). My sister in law got an IUD and has had nothing but problems from the get go.

Condoms are your best bet, no side effects and you have to use them to protect yourself from disease anyway, but then again...they can break.

Talk to your doctor....read up on all your options. Do your research, really. It's a big decision to fill your body with chemicals (or pieces of plastic) that wreak havoc with your hormones!

Remember, no matter what anyone says, every body is different, what works, problem free, for someone else may not work for you.

Good luck!

You should ask your doc about an IUD.

Here is the Website for Mirena IUD:

The " Quick, I gotta pull out now" method is always popular, and it works, too!

abstinence.........nothing else works in my opinion....the rhythm method shouldn't have to be relied upon when one is on birthcontrol........it seems as effective in my experience!
