it doesn't make someone gay. but percentage wise a lot of boys who were molested by men become men w/ gay tendencies. people in general who were molested tend 2 return the favor 2 the next generation. Rep. Foley on the other is just looking for anyway out of this that he can.

You are who you are at birth and if you are gay you will find out later in life, is what i believe but being molested as a child you would in most situations such as this be traumatized for this all your life and that would probably be a reason for you to be uncomfortable putting yourself back into the same sex situation. I was molested as a child and i'm not gay.

I dont think that anything MAKES someone gay but I think that it may confuse a male child into choosing that lifestyle when he may not have in other circumstances. Had he been molested by a woman do you think he would be straight? Maybe... It may have something to do with what sex he relates he firt sexual experiences to whether they were pleasant or not.

Of course not. Being molested as a child makes you a victim. But people like to blame their sex crimes now on being molested or abused as a child. It's all a load of hogwash.

that question is very insulting to any who is assaulted as a child. being gay or not is a who you are. being assaulted has nothing to do with personal choice. assaulting someone is a personal choice that has no excuse. assaulting a child in anyway epically in a sexual manor is worthy of the most heinous punishment. just because you are gay doesn't mean you like young boys!!!

Anyone who explains off their homosexuality is from being molested as a child is delusional and sadly using their tragic experience as a "crutch"; I have nothing for such people.

not always.
i know of many girls who have been molested who are straight, but some gay girls who were also molested but who are gay.
and I also know of boys who have not been molested and are gay.

so you cannot conclude that one causes the other.
