Martian real estate won't likely be avialable for the next 70 or so years from now--if not longer. Currently, NO one is pushing the US Government to aggressively fund NASA for man's arrival to the Red Planet.
Shame too--seeing's the Moon would make the most excellent training ground for any real successful manned arrival on Mars.
You're pretty much stuck with Earthbound real estate.

I suggest you buy your next house on earth, that is, if you want to move in this century.
To live on Mars permanently we need to develop the technology to get there safely, for a reasonable cost, to create habitats on a low gravity, extra cold planet, and to modify our body to live comfortably under such conditions.
