It seems to me that he would be a better fit in the democratic party. After all their best friend the ACLU defends NAMBLA.

You said it!!!

Seems odd that a party that condones murdering the unborn would even attempt to argue ethics with anyone... And, as you pointed out, theyre big fans of NAMBLA...

Well perhaps he has other republican tendencys??? What do you think??? Does he like to spend money? Republicans of today are not the fiscally responsible ones of the past. Perhaps he likes to increase the deficicit and belives in having a huge amount of governmental control. Perhaps he is the opposite of a libertarian and is into big corporate interests. Is that it??? Is he into the fundamental religious side?? There are many things a Neo Con make today. The republicans of days past were very fiscally responsible, they did not like huge amounts of governmental control. Look at the whole man and then decide. Do not look at his best friend. Being a drug abuser/drunk is not a democratic trait necessarilary. Yeah perhaps if you are Talking about Ted Kenedy or Jeffery Skagel. If you are looking a GW Bush or Rush L. it looks pretty Republican.

Go ahead and look for these traits to see if he is a Neo-Con style Republican. Is he connected with a large corporation some how??? Does he stand to benefit for the top 1% of the top 1% of the weathy. Does he try to get the poor vote by saying he is pro life and is he also pro-death penalty??? Is he for gun control??? He is probably a neo-con republican.

I miss the really old style Repulicans like Regan and even Bush SR. They did not want to spend money on wars, the did not want to mess with the constiution, they did not want to disarm america. They donated to the arts. They were into philanthropy. They were educated. Not with a paper from Yale, but with what was in their head.

Nope he's a hypocrite Republican like yourself. He fought against civil liberties the ACLU. He wrote these laws against things that he thought he could get away with...Sort of sounds like every other Republican to me. By the way I hope your not the typical Republican hypocrite but if you call your own party the wrong party perhaps you too might be.

It was mainly a religious decision, he is a Roman Catholic, and these people are usually very conservative which is more associated with the Rep party. Unfortunately, a lot of us are born into a religion kicking and screaming, not by choice. As a result, our inhibitions are repressed and manifest themselves secretly. The mind is willing, but the body is not.

Tell em cantcu!!!
See this idiot, typical of his persuasion, wants to blame everything on the Democrats, including the shame attributable to their own. Thisis the height of Chutzpah. By the way how can you endorse a Pedophile being a better fit anywhere on this planet - shows your partisan thinking superceded your humanity! Schmendrik!..

Pssst, he held his post for six terms. Don't you think Jeb and his honeypot Katherine Harris would have caught on eventually. No, he was in the right party all along. That's why Hastert, Reynolds, and Alexander covered up for him. That's why his deed was reported originally to the elections committee and not the page or ethics committee. GOP all the way.

But his hypocracy is a perfect fit for your party, Scarlett.

Remember, when the Democrats controlled Congress, they at least punished the two people involved in the sex scandal then. Your people just ignored it and now they're scrambling to cover their asses.

It's too bad you can't recognize that the poo sandwich is heading through the fan-blades for your party. Instead, you're trying to pull your skirt down to cover your own.

Loser (and that's not in the personal sense...it's in the sense that you're going to lose in November and you're just bitter about it.)
