Having lost my husband very suddenly 3 months ago I must say I'm really not frightened of anything anymore because the most frightening thing has already happened.

Quite honestly, nothing much. I mean, if I think about it, there are a lot of things I would rather did not happen to me, like being captured by religious nutjobs and being tortured to a grisly death etc. - but it's not very likely and I don't wastre my life away worrying what might happen.
My philosophy is that you only need worry about stuff that will maim or kill you - everything esle you can deal with. If it's going to maim or kill you, you probably can't do much about it - so why waste time worrying? When you're dead you won't know about it anyway.
Life's too short too be scared. What's the worst that can happen?

Dogs, particularly those great big staffies that walk around off the lead. Grrrr that annoys me. It takes me over an hour sometimes to get my shopping, as I have to doggy hop. Got bitten by an alsation really badly when I was little and have not been able to go near a dog since.

Spiders. All manner of spider - from tiny money spider right up to tarantula. The way they scuttle at high speed really freaks me out.
