I wouldnt necessarily say it is a liberal bias..but they are definately altering the news to create controversy. I think the media needs some serious overhauling and start taking responsibility for what they are reporting. I have found Fox News to have the most common sense and fairness in reporting.

No. If the mainstream media had a liberal bias they'd report ALL the nasty crap the administration does (and even make up things they didn't do). As it stands now, it's quite the opposite.
Our front page news stories are "sexy news" instead of actually being news. The networks report Hollywood scandals as if they actually matter. Americans find themselves distracted on a daily basis from the news that ACTUALLY matters in favor of what the corporate owned media wants us to hear.
Look at who owns what news station, then tell me how they're "liberal scum"
I could say more, but every time I think about the ways in which our news services have failed us; I get violently ill.

I don't think so. I have a feeling that if the media had a liberal bias, there would be a lot fewer people who supported Bush. If you keep an eye on multiple news sources, you'll find that a lot of stories that could hurt Republicans have conveniently been under-reported or not reported at all by mainstream media.

no longer a liberal, yet I agree that each and every individual media is biased one way or yet another. no count number how confusing a reporter might want to purpose to positioned around the files in a fashion thoroughly freed from own biases, no one is going to achieve fulfillment one hundred% of the time. There are liberal commentators who're biased, Keith Olbermann case in point. even with the indisputable fact that the unfairness from statement shows which consists of his did not look to bleed into the authentic information coverage on MSNBC. i imagine the excellence is that Fox is deliberately biased and has a political agenda which is not in simple terms confined to their opinion statement classes like Beck or O'Reilly, yet as well some distance too typically seems in programming which charges itself as immediately information.

No, it appears to be just the opposite; the media has developed a very obvious conservative bias as of late.

As one who studied journalism in college, I can very confidently say we are well exposed to instances of biased journalism each day by what is supposed to be respected grand-scale news/information services.
Journalists cleverly put in their bias opinions for any number of reasons: from scratching for that Pulitizer Prize.....to maybe being given some "scratch" (payola) from politically empowered sources.
Today, WE must be the unbiased and bear the responsibility to see through the transparent bias and draw our own balanced conculsions.

Of course to the people that disagree with what is being reported .I being a liberal however must admit that so much of the media is based on sensationalism that you have to take a lot of it with a grain of salt.

The majority of people in the press vote and are Democrates. Some of them try hard to be unbiased, some don't try at all. It is very difficult not to let your opinions come through.
