From a woman's pt of view: It makes some women feel that by agreeing to sign a prenup that u have already decided the marriage is going to fail. It's more psychological than logical.

Any honest loving woman would not mind signing a prenuptual agreement, as long as they have a lawyer or someone to go over it if they can't read it themselves. If she got furious, something is up and you guys need to discuss it. Don't let her get away with not signing cause she got angry. If I was a man and my woman did that, I'd be afraid too.

It all depends on the couple's understanding with each other because a lot of people take the prenuptial agreement as a sign the other person is thinking 'when we divorce' rather than 'if we ever divorce'. Tell her that its for her benefit too and you both wouldn't want to have a messy divorce in case years later she changes her mind about staying married to you.

cause maybe they have bad intentions and are planning to get something you got . I can understand you don't want to lose everything to a gold digger. Have read where women marry a few years only to suck the guy dry in divorce .
You hope it never happens but now adays nothing seems to last forever. However if your coming into a marriage and you already have money then thats hould be yours. but if your married and you make money together as a team then thats different she should get her share too only fair. but if you made your money well before she came along then that should stilll be yours if you part.

It is strange. I myself will never get married without a prenup. Even if she's the love of my life, I will kick her out.
Like it was mentioned before, if she really loves you, what should a piece of paper change it?
Why should any man risk losing half of what he owns, when a simple peice of paper is all he needs to prevent it.

I wish I had enough money or possessions to require a prenup. I guess I could write up a prenup for my girlfriend and tell her she can't have my crappy couch if we broke up, but I doubt she would want it anyway.

well it comes down to trust if you get her to sign the pre-nup well you are telling her that you don't trust her in advanceand it really hurts.

because relationships are built on trust and by saying "here sign this" is showing you don't trust her.
