I watched SNL on Saturday night and it seemed to cut in a little bit to a scene in progress with Amy Pohler on a couch. She then ran over to do a different scene. I was explaining this to someone who said oh it sounds like that was just a joke how there are so few people they have to run from sketch to sketch while wearing the wrong costume etc. I thought it was an actual error. Does anyone know what happened or could point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

So wait, they intentionally came back from a comercial with the couch skit. Did that for all of 45 seconds and then had her stay the same character in the second sketch. She wasn't just covering herself by mentioning the person she was dressed up as in the new skit?

They were right . It was a joke that they scheduled two skits back to back with her in both. Normally that means that she wrot both skits or was essetial to both. They scheduled them together to make a joke where she has to go from set to set to make the audience laugh. It would have been funnier if they had done it for several skits but commercials get in the way of such humor.

It was part of a lame sketch that didn't go over well.

And Dane Cook looked terrible in Hi Def.
